iHeartMedia Chicago announced Wednesday the debut of a new Christmas music station for listeners in the Chicagoland community. 93.9 LITE FM, “The Best Variety From the 80s, 90s and Now for Chicago,” will broadcast around-the-clock Christmas music by today’s biggest artists along with all the holiday classics. To welcome the new Christmas station, 93.9 LITE FM afternoon show host Mick Lee will host and broadcast a holiday kick-off featuring favorite Christmas classics and festive games to get listeners in the holiday spirit. It all starts November 8 at 4:05pm. On-air personalities Melissa Forman, Robin Rock, Mick Lee, and Delilah will continue to host the station’s programming.

“We are thrilled to be Chicago’s home for holiday music, and this year listeners will find amazing contests and a few new surprises along with the Yuletide cheer we bring to Chicagoland every year,” said Mick Lee, Program Director for 93.9 LITE FM.

“93.9 LITE FM is ready to get Chicagoans in the holiday spirit,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Markets Group’s Chicago Region. “93.9 LITE FM’s non-stop Christmas music is the perfect opportunity to escape life’s challenges and celebrate the joy of the season.”
