October 12 is a big day for ESPN1000 Chicago as the station celebrates its 20th anniversary. Actually, they're calling it “Fanniversary” -- an event for listeners at Austin’s Fuel Room in Libertyville, IL, where ESPN1000 will be broadcasting the entire day.

The team at WTOP in Washington, DC, say FederalNewsRadio.com and 1500 AM has changed its name to Federal News Network, a move aimed at highlighting its many distribution platforms and channels, including on-air, online, podcasts, video, and more.
