Saturday night Entercom's Radio.com took center stage, along with The Zac Brown Band and Carly Pierce at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL. The event was presented by Radio.com, which received a ton of positive promotion at the packed venue.

Last night at Radio.com's Night Before concert in Sunrise, it's worth noting that Carly Pearce, who opened for The Zac Brown Band, went out of her way several times to thank radio.

Kudos to Bud Walters and his team at WPRT-FM (102.5 The Game) in Nashville. The station raised $12,090 for LP Pencil Box. LP Pencil Box provides free school supplies for Nashville teachers.

At the very end of the BMI/RMLC press release, "podcasts" are included as a platform in which music in the BMI catalogue is "covered" by the scope of this new agreement. Does that mean one of your hosts can start a music podcast tomorrow without fear of breaking any copyright laws? The answer...it's complicated.

The radio industry and BMI have been fighting over rates since 2017, in court since 2018. Although not much was disclosed about the new deal announced Thursday, we tried to dig up as many details as we could.
