No reason was given for the split and the change was made without any announced transition. Cox simply announced Wednesday that Guthrie, who's been with CMG for 22 years, was leaving as CEO. Loud Media Launches

Border Media and A&J Radio have merged and formed a new company called Loud Media, based out of Saratoga Springs, New York. The company also announced the purchase WNYV-FM in Whitehall, New York and WVNR-FM in Poultney, VT from Pine Tree Broadcasting.
