The KBA WKU Radio Talent Institute is underway on the Western Kentucky University campus. Taking on the opening session was Chris Lytle of Instant Sales Training and the best-selling author of The Accidental Salesperson and The Accidental Sales Manager.

For 10 days, students will hear from a host of industry luminaries. At the end of the institute they will be certified as RAB Radio Marketing Professionals by the RAB. Bud Walters, President of the Cromwell Radio Group Nashville, will be doing the closing session.

“We can’t stand on the sidelines wondering where the next generation of broadcasters will come from. We have to be proactive and intentional in our efforts to assist students on their journey into broadcasting, culminating with job placement,” said Chris Winkle, President of Kentucky Broadcasters Association.

This is the 7th annual KBA WKU Radio Talent Institute.
