Here’s a follow-up to the story we reported Tuesday when $10,000 worth of equipment was stolen from WAMO-FM in Pittsburgh. Thanks to the power of social media, all the equipment has been returned.
According to GM Jamal Woodson, after this surveillance video was shown thousands of times on Facebook, someone recognized the burglar, called the GM, and arranged a meeting with Woodson to return the equipment.
On Facebook, Woodson promised that as long as the station equipment was returned he would not press charges. That’s exactly what happened.
