Detroit’s 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) is adding Motor City native Heather Park to the Jamie and Stoney Show as co-host. Her first day will be June 12. The show airs weekdays from 6-10 a.m. Park is the in-park host at Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers, and the past host of Detroit Sports News on WWJ-TV. She is currently hosting Michigan Golf Weekly for the television station. She has also worked for ESPN 3 as a sideline reporter.
Jimmy Powers, Program Director, said, “Heather’s experience with the Detroit Tigers and WWJ-TV, combined with her personality, makes her the perfect fit for the Jamie and Stoney Show. I look forward to the evolution of the show with the addition of Heather.”
Haters gonna hate. I listen to Heather on the Ticket morning show, and I think she does a fine job. She reports the news, and brings a female viewpoint into an otherwise all male envoirment. Stay strong Heather.

Heather Dork is just….well, plain dumb.
This women seems to be trying to imitate other sports talking heads by yelling into the mic rather then talking in a more normal voice, and her news items slot is just dumb, along with that stupid background music (noise). Listening to her is like when chalk squealed on the blackboard in grade school. Not good.
No wonder kids can’t read or write grammar properly. Fits the blonde stigma.
This is one of the dumbest people on the planet. She may have to gone but I don’t think she ever learned how to read, it’s painful to listen to her to her. Please get her off the radio, how did she ever get a passing grade in basic reading ?.
