Community Broadcasters Closes on Glory Stations

The FCC has approved the sale of four Glory Communications stations purchased by Community Broadcasters, co-owned and operated by Jim Leven and Bruce Mittman. The four stations are located in South Carolina.

Community Broadcasters, in partnership with Northwood Ventures, owns and operates 16 stations in Elmira/Corning, Olean, Ogdensburg and Watertown, NY. Last September, they purchased 12 radio stations, 7 translators and 3 TV construction permits located in Florence, Sumter and Orangeburg, South Carolina from Miller Communications.

WLJI 98.3 FM – Summerton, SC WSPX 94.5 FM – Bowman, SC
WTQS 1490 AM – Cameron, SC WPDT 105.1 FM – Coward, SC
