Cumulus Media Chicago has hired Kim Berk (pictured) who will join Brant Miller as morning show co-host on WLS-FM. Berk moves to Chicago from New York City, where she was co-host of the Kim & Kane Show on WWFS-FM from 2009 to 2015.

Grundmann's exact title with NPR will be Vice President of Programming and Audience Development. Grundmann has been in the new role on an interim basis and was selected following an extensive national search.

Allyson Hillman has been named Director of Business Development for Alpha in that market. Hillman spent 22 years in Detroit working for both Cumulus and iHeartMedia and has experience in radio, television, Internet, digital, and outdoor.

iHeartMedia has promoted Ann Postell to Senior VP of Sales for iHeartMedia in Sacramento from her position as D.O.S. at the cluster. iHeartMedia Sacramento includes KHYL V101.1 FM, KFBK News Radio 1530 AM and 93.1 FM, Talk 650 KSTE, 93.7 Jack FM, and B92.5 FM.

The Twin Cities’ KCMP 89.3 FM The Current announced Wednesday that local radio celebrity and veteran DJ Brian Oake has been named co-host of The Morning Show.

Mike Moore (pictured here with George Strait), Jim Fox in Sacramento, and Bob Barnett in Rochester have been given new titles: Vice President of Programming. President of Programming Pat Paxton said, “Jim, Mike, and Bob are outstanding leaders with impressive track records of success in their markets."

AMP has hired Floyd as GSM for its four-station radio group in Peoria. Floyd spent the last year as GM for Connoisseur's three stations in Bloomington. Prior to that, she was with Bud Walters' Cromwell Group for nearly 12 years as GM in Charleston-Mattoon, Illinois.

Amy Freeman is the new GSM for Entercom's WLYF/LITE FM and WMXJ/The Beach in Miami. Freeman was formerly regional account manager for Lincoln before the Entercom purchase. Prior to that, she was VP/Director of Sales for iHeart Radio Los Angeles, which included top biller KIIS-FM LA.

77 WABC in New York has added a second show featuring Curtis Sliwa to its weekday programming schedule. It's called The Drive at Five with Curtis Sliwa, and it will air from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Sliwa will continue as co-host of The Curtis and Kuby Show on 77 WABC, weekdays from Noon-3:00 p.m. He replaces Doug McIntyre, who remains at KABC/ LA.

The Chicagoland Radio and Media Blog has the details about Johnson departing as PD of the Hubbard station where he's only held the job for about 18 months. Johnson says he'll remain PD for a short while longer, while the station searches for his replacement.
