You can’t keep a good Ram down. Colorado State University is welcoming back Brian Roth who will reclaim the play-by-play role for CSU’s football and men’s basketball broadcasts, and serve as host of the Rams’ coaches’ shows. Roth has been the color commentator the past three years but is returning to the play-by-play chair he previously occupied. This will be his 17th year as a Rams athletics commentator.
“Brian is talented, and he knows the ins and outs of the Rams’ programs like no one else,” added Rams Sports Properties’ General Manager Dani Belinski. “He is a perfect choice to call games again for the Rams, and we’re excited to have him. Not only is he a native, he has an undeniable history with Colorado State and is eager to resume play-by-play duties.”
The Rams will also have a new home on the radio dial. Fort Collins-based Townsquare Media Northern Colorado’s KARS “Rock 102.9” FM will serve as the Rams’ flagship station, while Denver-area affiliate Mile High Sports KDCO 1340 AM and 104.7 FM will carry all football and men’s basketball games, as well as select women’s basketball games.
