MBC Radio’s FREQ 90.5 (CJMB-FM) in Canada has added “The Woody Show.” The addition of the morning show to FREQ 90.5’s lineup marks the first Canadian affiliate for the Premiere Networks-syndicated program through its partnership with Orbyt Media, Canada’s premier content syndication group.

Salem's AM 560 The Answer in Chicago announced on Monday that 5P-7P host Steve Cortes will be temporarily stepping away from his show to join President Trump’s re-election campaign in the role of Senior Advisor of Communications.

Entercom has promoted Danny Freisinger to Brand Manager of ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM) in Sacramento. Freisinger has spent his entire 13-year sports media career in Northern California. He'll continue in his role as Assistant Brand Manager for KGMZ-FM in San Francisco. 

He was once part of the popular Brooke and Jubal syndicated morning show until his sudden exit in April. Jubal has been hired by iHeartMedia in Seattle to work mornings on KBKS-FM.

Bubba The Love Spongecan now be heard on WCXI AM 1160 and WWCS AM 540. Birach Broadcasting owns the stations in the Detroit and Pittsburgh markets.

Johnette Cochran has been elevated to VP/GM of Adams Radio’s operation in Salisbury – Ocean City, MD. Cochran has been serving as Director of Sales for the market since December 2019.

Power 95.3 (WPYO-FM, Orlando) has pulled their afternoon and evening personalities together for a new morning show. Danie & Kevin Mornings on Power 95.3 debuts July 27.

WAKY 790 AM, Louisville is reporting the death of longtime DJ Johnny Randolph. He was PD and DJ for the station during the 60's and 70's.

The L.A. Chargers will have a new Spanish-language radio team. Both fixtures in L.A. sports for more than two decades, Francisco Pinto will provide color commentary, Adrian Garcia Marquez will be the play-by-play man on Que Buena 105.5/94.3 FM.
