After 48 Years WJR’s Frank Beckmann Retiring
News Talk 760 WJR Detroit Mid-Morning On-Air Host Frank Beckmann has announced he'll be retiring after 48 years on the air. Beckmann has hosted “The Frank Beckmann Show” on WJR weekdays from 9:00am-Noon for the last 18 years. He first signed on to WJR in 1972. His final broadcast will be March 26, 2021.
Stephens Media Group Host Dies From COVID
Jeffrey Shannon died Wednesday due to complications from COVID-19 at the age of 56. He worked for Stephens' Z93 in Watertown New York and was Director of Marketing for the local TV station.
WAMU Kojo Nnamdi Show Ending
The Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU 88.5 Washington D.C. will end this spring. The NPR station says the show will end production April 1.

Galaxy Media Host Retiring After 16 Years
“Gomez & Lisa” co-host Lisa Chelenza is leaving the Syracuse radio show after 16 years. Chelenza joined the Galaxy in 2004 as part of the “Gomez and Dave in the Morning” show. She was promoted to co-host in 2015 and the show was renamed “Gomez and Lisa in the Morning”.
Alpha Host Named Sportscaster of The Year
KFOR/KLMS (Lincoln, Nebraska) Sports Director Jeff Motz has been named the National Sports Media Association's 2020 Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year. Motz began broadcasting at KFOR in 2006 as a news anchor/reporter and backup sportscaster.
New Line-Up At KMGA
Magic 99.5/KMGA-FM, Albuquerque is adding syndicated morning show Bob & Sheri. The move will split the former morning team into two shows later in the day.

Kristie Graybill is the new morning show contributor for The Fred Show on 103.5 KISS FM, Chicago. She joins the iHeartMedia Chicago group from iHeartMedia St. Louis.
SMG Names Two Format Captains
Stephens Media Group has promoted Tommy Del Rio and Josh Venable to format captains. Del Rio will oversee the CHR format while Venable will oversee Alternative and Rock formats.
