Kathleen A. Kirby is the new Secretary and General Counsel to the Broadcasters Foundation of America. Kirby takes over from Richard Bodorff, who will remain on the Board of Directors.

Twin Cities radio vet Dana Wessel is the new Executive Producer for 93X/KXXR-FM’s Half-Assed Morning Show. He comes over from KQGO where he co-hosted mornings with Ben Holsen before COVID cuts in July 2020.

Kane Dead at Age 43
Peter Deibler, known as the Premiere Radio syndicated host “Kane,” has died at age 43. Deibler passed away last Friday after a long illness. The host has two daughters, Sam and Sophie which he spoke about often on the air.

CPR Host Ray White Dies At Age 69
Ray White, a veteran radio host whose nearly 50-year career spanned musical genres from coast to coast, died Sunday of cancer. White was most recently the afternoon host on CPR Classical from Colorado Public Radio. He was 69.

Devin Steel is the new PD at Hot 107.9 (WHTA-FM). Steel joins Radio One Atlanta from iHeartMedia Media Memphis where he was SVP Programming.
