Tricia Gallenbeck is Cumulus' new Market Manager in Eugene, OR. She joins Cumulus from Reno Media Group where she was GM. Gallenbeck was previously D.O.S. for Beasley in Fayetteville. She replaces Kathy Smith.

Gonzalez To Run Miami for iHeart
iHeartMedia announced today that Shari Gonzalez has been promoted to Market President from her previous role as SVP of sales in that market. The iHeartMedia Miami/Fort Lauderdale cluster has nine stations. Gonzalez replaces Brian Olson.
Barlow Joins Sandhill
After a hiatus from radio, Brad Barlow has joined Sandhill Media Group as program director and host on NOW 105.1FM in Eastern Idaho. Sandhill Media owns 8 stations in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg in Idaho.
Rightmire Joins El Dorado
El Dorado Broadcasters, which owns KZXY-FM, KATJ-FM, KIXA-FM, KIXW-AM, KXVV-FM, KATJ-HD2 in Victor Valley, California has hired James Rightmire as D.O.S. Rightmire spent the past four years as SVP/sales for iHeart Media in Stockton/Modesto.
The Legendary Ron Chapman is Dead
Chapman spent more than four decades on the air in Dallas. He began in radio the day he graduated high school in 1953 on WHAV in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He also spent two years on Armed Forces radio in Korea. Chapman was 85 years old. Art Vuolo has a video tribute to Chapman HERE.
WBAI Host Bob Fass Dead at 87
Fass hosted a show he called "Radio Unnameable" on New York Countercultural station WBAI for over 50 years. The free-form radio host was hospitalized recently with COVID-19 but died of congestive heart failure. Fass died this past Saturday in North Carolina.
PromoSuite Promotes Mena
Rey Mena has been promoted to VP, Product Design & Development at PromoSuite. Mena joined PromoSuite in 2018 to lead the design and development of the new PromoSuitePlus platform. His new role will now include oversight of PromoSuite's entire product line.
Westwood One Adds Mistress Carrie
Mistress Carrie will be joining the 24-hour network formats division as afternoon host of the Rock 2.0 and CRX formats. Carrie previously worked at rocker WAAF-FM in Boston before the rock station was sold to EMF last year.
Brendan Daly Leaves RIAA Joins CPB
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has named Brendan Daly as Vice President of Communications. He most recently was Chief Communications Officer for the Recording Industry Association of America.
