'Country Countdown USA' host Lon Helton has been named “Broadcast Personality of the Year” Award for a Weekly National Show by the Country Music Association. The award will be presented at the 55th Annual CMA Awards Show, November 10, in Nashville.

iHeartMedia Minneapolis announced that Matt Sheeder has been named Vice President of Sales for iHeart's 9-station cluster in that market. He will report to Greg Alexander, Market President for iHeartMedia Minneapolis.
Two Moving Up At Benztown
Benztown has promoted Thomas Green to Director of Custom Imaging and moved Royce Stevenson into Green's Custom Imaging Manager post. Stevenson comes over to Benztown from Power 93.5 in Wichita, KS; Green has been with the company since 2019.
Easton Returns to The Country Format
Shelly Easton has been named PD for iHeartMedia's WKKT-FM in Charlotte. Easton said, “I am so thrilled to be back in the country format. To be able to rejoin the company where I launched my programming career, is a dream come true.”
Williams Promoted at iHeartRadio
With Darren Davis leaving iHeart soon, Chris Williams is being elevated to the role of General Manager & Chief Product Officer for iHeartRadio. Williams will report directly to Conal Byrne, CEO of iHeartMedia’s Digital Audio Group.
