Joe Soto will take over the slot previously occupied by the Doug Banks Show. Banks passed away in April at the age of 57. Soto, a 36-year veteran, is most familiar to Chicago listeners as host of The Real Show and Back in the Day on V103.

Beasley Grabs Another Florida Translator

Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group fills us in on the details. Beasley is purchasing the construction permit for FM translator W276CX New Port Richey (Tampa), Florida, from Cornerstone Community Radio, a Florida not-for-profit corporation, for $125,000. No word yet on what the company plans to broadcast on the translator.

Radio Button Network Adds First Show

The Radio Button Network has picked up its first program following the launch of the network by syndicated hosts Ace & TJ earlier this month. Greg & The Morning Buzz is the first to be added to the show roster. The show is based at iHeartMedia's WHEB in Portsmouth, NH.
