The 41st annual Gracies Gala was held last night in Los Angeles. The awards program celebrates contributions by and about women in all forms of media. Judge Stryker (pictured) couldn't have made it more clear that the transfer iHeart made of 100 million shares of Clear Channel Outdoor to Broader Media was allowed based on the evidence she heard last week. She said this ruling was necessary to "prevent imminent and irreparable harm to iHeart."

Advertising Age has the details about the massive "buy with dozens of partners, the largest of which is Google." The campaign will include premium digital video, mobile video, and high-impact placements that show up in prominent spots on Web pages, some of which are in Spanish-language media.

A company called Podtrac is now releasing a monthly ranking of podcasts based on unique monthly audience in the United States and unique downloads globally. NPR's 32 podcasts topped the April ranker.

Joe Soto will take over the slot previously occupied by the Doug Banks Show. Banks passed away in April at the age of 57. Soto, a 36-year veteran, is most familiar to Chicago listeners as host of The Real Show and Back in the Day on V103.

The name of the book is Naked DJ, and the author is former Z100 and K-ROCK DJ Jo Maeder. She says her new novel draws on her radio career both on and off the mike. “NAKED DJ is an uncensored all-access pass to one woman’s climb to the radio top. Then her troubles really begin. It’s also a great contemporary story. How far do you go for your job? And for love?”

The Radio Button Network has picked up its first program following the launch of the network by syndicated hosts Ace & TJ earlier this month. Greg & The Morning Buzz is the first to be added to the show roster. The show is based at iHeartMedia's WHEB in Portsmouth, NH.

Entercom Austin has named Dayne Damme as Marketing Director of four stations: AC KKMJ (MAJIC 95.5), Hot AC KAMX (MIX 94.7) Urban AC KKMJ-HD3 (96.3 RnB), and News Talk KJCE-AM (Talk Radio 1370). Prior to joining Entercom Austin, Damme worked with CBS Radio's KSFM/Sacramento and most recently as Marketing and Promotion Director for Entercom Sacramento.
