KTAR Deepens Commitment To “Local” With New Show

Bonneville’s News and Sports station KTAR (Phoenix) is adding a local evening news-driven talk show, Reality Check with Darin Damme, on January 3. Damme, who started in radio at the age of 12 at KMOG in Payson, is a former highly-rated Top 40 morning show host on KZZP and KZON in Phoenix.

Ryan Hatch, Bonneville Phoenix Vice President of Content and Operations, said, “Darin is an exciting talent who will bring a conservative voice and strong opinions that will represent the values of so many in the Valley. Born and raised in Arizona, he also has a passion to improve our community and deliver a voice for a better Phoenix.”

The new show will air evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will replace Arizona’s Evening News. The start time of the Dave Ramsey Show evening airing will move to 8 p.m.

The update KTAR News show lineup beginning Jan. 3 is:

5 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Arizona’s Morning News with Jim Sharpe and Jayme West 9 a.m. to noon: Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes Noon to 2 p.m.: The Dave Ramsey Show 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Arizona’s Afternoon News with Mac and Gaydos 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Reality Check with Darin Damme
