PRAISE 106.1 FM in Baltimore and Philadelphia’s PRAISE 103.9 FM begin airing The Sound of Praise with Gospel singer Maurette Brown Clark in the midday slot starting Monday. Clark is an artist, musician, producer, business mogul, wife and mother. Clark said she's completely humbled and excited to come to radio.

101ESPN in St Louis is searching for a new member for its PM Drive show. The search is on for The Fast Lane show after former St. Louis Ram D’Marco Farr quit to pursue other opportunities. The new host will join Randy Karraker and Brad Thompson.

The Journal Times has the details about WLGC (Ashland, Kentucky) host Tim Carper. The 49-year old has been charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

San Antonio 550/107.1 KTSA morning man Trey Ware will be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame October 29th. He said going in is an honor. "I am humbled to be voted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame along with such outstanding broadcasters. Radio people truly are the best you will ever meet."

Alpha Media Joliet host Todd “Bossman” Boss raised $9,830 in food and monetary donations with a 55-hour hunger strike. The hunger strike helped benefit The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry.

The network has signed a new multi-year agreement with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. He'll continue hosting the daily feature, A Better Life with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. This is a follow-up to a story we reported on Friday. John Mason and Angie Starr, hosts at Radio One's 105.9 in Detroit, were ordered to jail last week for not paying back over $4,000 they borrowed for a 2008 party they threw on New Year's Eve. Mason told WDIV-TV they avoided jail time by paying the money back last week. He said both he and Starr had been making payments through wage garnishment.
