Hall Communications’ Bill Baldwin Passes
Baldwin, who was Executive Vice President of Hall Communications, passed away after a six-year battle with cancer. He was 73 years. Baldwin joined Hall in 1974 and was still employed by the company at the time of his death.

Phoenix native Jeana Shepard has landed the plumb on-air spot in her home town on LIVE 101.5, beginning Monday, September 19. Shepard will be heard weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. She replaces Kimmie Caruba following Caruba’s move to WUSN-FM in Chicago.
KKOB Gets Boost Thanks To FM Translator
Cumulus' Albuquerque talker KKOB-AM is now broadcasting as a simulcast on 94.5 FM thanks to a new FM translator being purchased from a local owner. The translator on top of Sandia Mountain is equivalent to a 50,000-watt FM and reaches all of the Albuquerque metro area.
iHeartMedia San Francisco Names Loos New DPD
iHeartMedia San Francisco announced Thursday that Kelsie Loos will be the new Digital Program Director beginning September 19, 2016. Loos will oversee digital strategy for the company’s five San Francisco radio station brands.
