In a document filed with the SEC, CBS Corporation said it's changing the way it manages its television and radio operations. This is all in anticipation of the company spinning off its radio division.

Alpha Media is selling five Kansas stations to Rocking M Media. The five stations are in Salina, Abilene and Manhattan Kansas. The stations are; KSAL-AM 1150; KSAL-FM 104.9; KABI-AM 1560; KYEZ-FM 93.7 and KBLS-FM 102.5. No price was announced.

The veteran jock and TV personality will be honored by the Museum of North Texas, which is making him its second North Texas Legend, reports the Times Record News.

The streaming music service now allows users to send songs to their friends via Apple's iMessage. According to The Verge the person receiving the text message will have 30 seconds to preview the song and has the option to start a station based on that song. The new feature is now available to download from the iMessage App Store for all Pandora users.

Cumulus owned 95.5 WPLJ in New York has re-signed long-running on-air host Race Taylor to a multi-year contract extension. Taylor has been part of the 95.5 PLJ on-air team since October 1999.
