Talent Driving Radio Success At Entravision

Entravision CEO Walter Ulloa was very complimentary about Entravision’s syndicated network lineup on the company earnings call, Thursday night. That content includes Erazno y la Chokolata (who will appear on the March 27 cover of Radio Ink Magazine), Alex El Genio Lucas and Eduardo Piolin Sotelo. And he said that lineup has a lot to do with Entravision’s audio advertising success. Here’s why.

Ulloa said their success is due to the hosts having a multi-platform presence, which includes online and mobile. And he added, “the key driver of the Entravision network success was the ability to greatly increase the number of customized syndicated partnerships created with agencies and clients where radio personalities became multi-platform brand ambassadors for advertisers.”

Ulloa says these unique campaigns include helping advertisers through radio, mobile streaming live events, and on-site promotional extensions. In 2016, 15 national brand endorsement campaigns were executed (compared to two in 2015) and he expects there will be more in 2017.
