The country morning show hosts collected more than 8,000 toys during the holiday community effort, which wrapped up with a marathon toy collection effort on December 9 and 10.

She's been in limbo for about a year now, serving on the Commission unconfirmed. The Hill reported Wheeler's plan to step down but it looks unlikely to happen for Rosenworcel as the Senate has wrapped up its business for the holidays without voting on her nomination.

$25,000 Fine For California Pirates

The FCC is proposing the fine against Iglesia el Remanente Fraternidad Elim and Belarmino Lara for operating the unlicensed station at 93.7 MHz in Arleta, California. The Commission has repeatedly warned both Elim and Lara that what they were doing was illegal but they have ignored the warnings. As the FCC's NAL points out this issue has been going on since 2013.
