Bridge Ratings was in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronic Show this past week where the company conducted five focus groups with the intent of gauging a) podcast consumption patterns among current podcast listeners, and b) if new technology would reduce the friction that has limited podcasting as a reach medium.
Schenek Takes Over Digital For Scripps Milwaukee
Scripps-owned WTMJ-AM and KTI-FM in Milwaukee has hired Dan Schenek as Digital Content Director. Schenek joins Scripps from Los Angeles where he was Digital Producer for NBCUniversal’s Access Hollywood. Schenek has also worked with CNN/HLN’s Dr. Drew show and with MTV/New York and CBS Radio/Los Angeles.
Bones Raises $2 Million For St. Judes
Tuesday night at The Ryman in Nashville "The BIG 98" presented Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots’ Million Dollar Show For St. Jude. Bones' band was joined by country music superstars Craig Campbell, Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Caitlyn Smith, and The Band Perry. The crowd at the Ryman went crazy when Garth Brooks, Brothers Osborne, and Thomas Rhett also took to the stage.

WSB’s Mark Arum Stepping Up For Firefighters
News 95.5 and AM750 WSB (WSB-AM/WSBB-FM), and Mark Arum are working together to help Atlanta metro area firefighters who were recently impacted by vehicle break-ins. During his show, Arum asked listeners to help Gwinnett and Forsyth County firefighters who were targeted over the weekend by thieves who struck while they were out on calls.

Billy Madison Turns 5 In Style
The Billy Madison Show team is celebrating its fifth anniversary and they threw a Texas-sized bash in their hometown of San Antonio to celebrate. KISS-FM held a sold-out 5th Anniversary Celebration show at San Antonio’s Aztec Theater.
