SiriusXM and ESPN are teaming up to deliver an exclusive 24/7 college sports channel, programmed by SiriusXM. ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM (channel 84) will debut Thursday, August 31, and will be available exclusively to SiriusXM subscribers via satellite radios, the SiriusXM app and on connected devices, including smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices and Sony PlayStation.

2017 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina Lineup Announced

The fourth annual festival will take place at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on Saturday, November 4 and will include performances by Nacho, Gente De Zona, Don Omar, CNCO, Reik, Jesse y Joy, and Camila Cabello, with more artists to follow. For the second year, the concert will be hosted by Enrique Santos.

Those are the words of CBS Radio Houston Market Manager Sarah Frazier (pictured here) who has her team working frantically to keep the community informed. As of 4 p.m. Sunday, CBS's stations went to an all-news simulcast on KHMX, KILT-FM, KILT-AM, and KKHH. Frazier tells Radio Ink that Monday morning it was clear there was a need to offer local residents a constant stream of evacuation and shelter information.

Russillo To Return After Two Week Suspension

That's according to Sports Illustrated writer Richard Deitsch who says he was told by sources that the ESPN host will be back on the radio the day after Labor Day. Rusillo was arrested last week after wandering into a strangers condo in Wyoming, allegedly drunk and unable to answer questions from police coherently. He was also reported to have his pants down around his ankles.

Danny Kanell Picked up By SiriusXM

The former ESPN host with Ryen Russillo, who was fired several months ago when the network laid off dozens, begins a daily show (1-4 p.m.) on SiriusXM channel 84 starting today. FOX Sports is also expected to announce that Kanell will be a part-time analyst for games on FS1 and FS2 starting this Saturday.

The Super Bowl XXI MVP will be an NFL analyst on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio (channel 82) throughout the 2017 season. He will join host Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo each week for Simms and the Mad Dog, an hour-long program where the duo will discuss the news from the league that week and preview the coming weekend's matchups.

T. Morgan Headed To The Hall

Longtime Philadelphia DJ T. Morgan, who just celebrated his 50th anniversary on Philadelphia radio, will be inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame. Morgan first went on the air at age 15 on WICK in Scranton.
