Chicago radio icon John Records Landecker, who has lived in northwest Indiana for the past 15 years, was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash award, September 8, ahead of his induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame, according to heraldargus.com.

Mix/Chicago Fires Kathy Hart
Hubbard Radio's WTMX (101.9 The Mix) is parting ways with Eric & Kathy co-host Kathy Hart, who abruptly vanished from the successful morning show back in April. On Thursday, Hubbard announced that Hart won't be back. Hubbard Chicago Market Manager Jeff England said, "We wish her all the best as she moves on to the next stage of her career."
