Lite FM New York Makes The Flip
iHeartMedia's 106.7 LITE FM is now celebrating the holidays. The Bob and Christine Morning Show, along with Rich Kaminski and the Radio City Rockettes, flipped the Christmas music switch marking the beginning of the Christmas season in New York City. The station will play Christmas music through Christmas Day.
Beasley Flips In Jersey
Beasley's Magic 98.3 in Somerset, New Jersey is now playing holiday tunes. PD Debbie Mazella said, "We are all very happy to continue the annual tradition of becoming Jersey's Christmas Station and play non-stop holiday music to add to the excitement of the season." When the station is not playing Christmas tunes the format is "Today’s Hits &Yesterday’s Favorites."
Amazon Enters The Radio Fight
With the holidays right around the corner, Amazon.com is using radio heavily as it continues to try to take shoppers away from brick-and-mortar retailers. Amazon aired 30,811 commercials on radio stations across the country last week, according to Media Monitors.
It’s Tamo Time At 106.5 The End
The Charlotte Alternative Rock station has named Tamo Sein Assistant Program Director, Music Director, and midday host. Sein will broadcast from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. She joins iHeartMedia Charlotte from Richmond, Virginia's XL102.
NAB Changes Event Schedule For Vegas Show
New events are replacing the Radio, Television and Technology Luncheons at the NAB's big event in Las Vegas this April. Two new events are being added and several are going away.
Entercom to Air Harvest Festival Feature
Entercom has announced a special, commercial-free programming feature, Count on Country, that will be broadcast Tuesday, November 28. The one-hour show will feature content from country music artists and it'll be hosted by Big & Rich. Within the commercial-free programming, artists will encourage donations to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.
Toy Drive For Charlotte Kids
Charlotte’s New 103.7, Kiss 95.1, Power 98, V 101.9, 94.7 SMOKE, and K 104.7 have partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and FOX 46 Charlotte for the CMPD Explorers Christmas Project to collect new, unwrapped toys for local children.

Alpha Helping Out PR, Caribbean Islands
Alpha Media West Palm Beach, FL raised $9,159 for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands with their Taste of Soul Music and Food Festival. The festival was held on Saturday, November 11 with all proceeds going to hurricane relief.
Cumulus Detroit Names Jessica Tyler APD/MD
Tyler will take up the reins as both Assistant Program Director and Music Director for NASH FM 93.1/WDRQ-FM in Detroit beginning December 15. She will also be on-air host of the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. show, weekdays. Tyler joins Cumulus Media-Detroit from Q103.1/WQNU in Louisville
