CMG Jacksonville Flips Two Frequencies
Cox Media Group Jacksonville has switched WEZI Easy 106.5 to 102.9 FM, and WXXJ X102.9 over to 106.5 FM. In addition to Easy 102.9’s move, it has flipped to Holiday Music. This change gives Easy 102.9 a larger signal. The station can now be heard from Brunswick, GA to southern St. John’s County, FL. The format on 106.5 is Alternative.

Alpha Louisville Raises $130K For Kids’ Hospital
Alpha Media Louisville hosted a two-day radiothon in support of Norton Children’s Hospital, November 16 and 17. Louisville stations WXMA, WDJX, WGZB, WMJM, and WGHL, raised $131,586 and shared heartfelt stories of patients and families impacted by the hospital.
Turkeys For Troops In San Antonio
iHeartMedia San Antonio recently partnered with local car dealership Toyota of Boerne and Walmart for the seventh annual Turkeys for Troops drive. iHeart employees and volunteers handed out turkeys to over 7,000 local military personnel and their families.

Entercom Takes New York
On the heels of the merger with CBS Radio, the Entercom management team, along with founder Joe Field, rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday. Upstate NY Stations Going To Auction
They've been losing money for years and now with an owner nobody can find, and bills left unpaid, five Sarnac Lake radio stations will be auctioned off in two weeks. The Saranac Lake Radio Company, which celebrated 90 years in September, and was the voice of the community, is a shell of the radio company it once was and is hardly broadcasting today.
CRS Announces Scholarship Winners
The Country Radio Broadcasters has named Jennifer Hays (Music Director/On Air, KCTR/Billings, MT), Mark Wells (PD KCYT-FM/Fayetteville, AR), and Jamie Jackson (Promotions Director 95.3 KRTY/San Jose) as recipients of the 2018 Rusty Walker Scholarship. Each will receive an all-expenses-paid trip and attendance to CRS 2018.

Frisbie most recently founded Frisbie Consulting where he helped clients with media/digital/mobile/video sales strategies and operations. Before starting his own company, Frisbie was EVP of Sales at Jun Group, where he led the company’s national media sales efforts, and eight years as the VP of Sales at iHeartRadio.
