99.1 PLR/Connecticut morning team Chaz and AJ took their show to Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven Friday morning and raised $109,852.78 in cash and toys. It was their annual four-and-half-hour Chaz and AJ McDermott Chevrolet and Lexus Toy Drive. The toys were immediately distributed to five organizations.

98.7 The Bull (KUPL) is bringing Jenn Hays to Portland to join Tony and Jake for mornings. The new show, Bull Mornings with Tony, Jake and Jenn, launches Monday, January 8. Jenn is originally from Oregon, having spent the past couple of years working in Billings, Montana.
Hernandez Joins El Patron In Dual Role
Rico Hernandez has joined iHeart's Regional Mexican station El Patron (Phoenix) as morning show on-air talent and Executive Station Producer, effective January 2, 2018. He will also continue to serve as midday talent on Tejano 1600 in Tucson. Hernandez has been an on-air host for Tejano 1600 in Tucson for iHeartMedia since 2013.
Big Apple Homecoming For Ken Johnson
Urban programming executive Ken Johnson will return to Cumulus Urban AC station WNBM-FM/Radio 103.9 in New York City as Program Director. Johnson successfully launched WNBM in July 2014, and left the station in April 2015 to become Operations Manager for Cumulus Media’s Urban AC-formatted WUHT-FM/Hot 107.7 in Birmingham, AL.
Friedlander Joins RAB
The Radio Advertising Bureau has hired Sharon Friedlander as its new VP of Insights, effective January 2. She'll be replacing Annette Malave who's leaving to pursue other interests on January 11. Most recently, Friedlander served as partner/director at media planning agency MEC, with previous roles at Group M and OMD.

iHeartMedia Washington, DC, announced today that Elizabethany has been named APD and afternoon show host for HOT 99.5, (WIHT-FM) “DC's No. 1 Hit Music Station,” and home to The Kane Show. As APD, Elizabethany will assist in overseeing the station’s on-air and music programming.

That's the conclusion Wells Fargo analyst Marci Ryvicker came to after meeting with Entercom CEO David Field and CFO Rich Schmaeling this week. The CBS stations have taken a beating in the press over the past 18 months, since the merger was announced. Ryvicker tells investors not to worry...Field and Schmaeling have a plan.
