The great Julius Erving, best known as Dr. J, has a new weekly podcast, House Call with Dr. J, available on reVolver Podcasts. Erving will host guests like Mark Cuban, Trevor Booker, Stedman Graham, Chuck D, and Kenneth Chenault as they discuss the moments in their lives that dared them to be great.

It's a 10-year, multimillion-dollar partnership with iHeartMedia's 97.9 ESPN in Hartford which will be the new home for all UConn Huskies sports. The new deal includes regular season and post-season play-by-play for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s hockey.

Entercom's WITC was the long-time home for UCONN sports (since 1991) until the two sides parted ways on Friday when the News-Talker in Hartford announced it would not be renewing its contract to broadcast UCONN Sports once the agreement expires at the end of this basketball season. Community Broadcasters LLC have signed a multi-year agreement to work with the Children’s Miracle Network for the annual CMN Hospitals Radiothon. The 2018 radiothon, scheduled for September 5-7, will benefit McLeod Children’s Hospital in South Carolina.

Digital managers-turned-senior corporate leaders from top broadcast companies will discuss the shift in corporate executive progression from digital professional to CEO in a panel at the 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas on Monday, April 9. Dick Broadcasting Company has promoted Matt Wells to Promotions Director for WKRR Rock 92 and WKZL 1075 KZL. Wells has been with the company for five years and has served as producer for Jared and Katie in the Morning (1075 KZL) for the past four years.
