Bleached-out and rotting, with overgrown roots barring the door better than any Master Lock padlock. What was once a shiny, corrugated metal roof is now rusted and festooned with crow droppings.

ASCAP has named Nick Lehman Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy & Digital Officer, reporting directly to ASCAP CEO Elizabeth Matthews. Lehman most recently worked as Chief Strategy Officer for TEGNA.

Beasley Media Group has hired Travis Daily as Tampa Operations Manager and PD of WQYK 99.5FM. Daily spent the past 17 years at iHeartMedia, where he most recently served as Senior VP of Programming in Tampa and Sarasota.

Gill Santos passed away last week, on his 80th birthday and 57th wedding anniversary. Santos started working Patriots' games for WBZ in Boston in 1966 as an analyst. He took over play-by-play duties in 1971. Santos called 743 games in 36 seasons.

George Reed, owner of Monticello Media, has announced the appointment of Ralph Salierno to VP/GM of their Charlottesville, VA, stations (WCHV, WYCK, WHTE, WKAV & WZGN).

CBS Sunday Morning will be available to CBS News Radio listeners beginning April 22. Every Sunday, CBS Sunday Morning will be delivered to CBS News Radio affiliates for a 9:00 a.m. ET broadcast, though stations have the flexibility of offering it to their listeners throughout the day.

The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation has announced the winners of the 2018 Celebration of Service to America Awards, recognizing outstanding community service by local broadcasters. Winners will be honored at the Celebration of Service to America dinner, held Tuesday, June 12 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.

According to Tri- States Public Radio Riverfront Broadcasting's two southeast Iowa stations KOKX-AM and WCEZ-FM could go off the air soon. Carolyn Becker purchased the stations in 2016. She says the stations will go dark unless new owners are found.
