Art Vuolo has shared a video that includes clips of how radio covered the event back on that awful day. On Monday morning, iHeartMedia announced its National Programming Group promoted Rod Phillips to the new position of Executive VP of Country Programming Strategy. Phillips has led the iHeartCountry team since 2015 and has more than 25 years’ programming experience.

iHeartMedia Charleston has hired Pete Norden as its new Senior VP of Sales for that market's four stations. Norden has 24 years of radio experience. He's moving to Charleston from Tampa where he held a similar position for iHeart.
