A story in The New York Post Tuesday would have you believe so. The paper quotes sources who claim "Malone’s Liberty Media is gearing up for a flurry of negotiations with iHeart’s creditors to assemble a stake of roughly 35 percent in iHeart."
Consumers Still Turn To TV For News
The Pew Research Center is out with its latest study on how Americans consume news. 47% of Americans prefer watching the news rather than reading (34%) or listening (19%) to it. Radio is up slightly from Pew's 2016 study.

Foundation Launches Year-End Appeal
The Broadcasters Foundation of America has launched its annual year-end appeal for tax-deductible personal donations to the Guardian Fund and corporate contributions to the Angel Initiative. The drive asks broadcasters to give back with a personal or corporate donation.
