The Country Radio Broadcasters has opened ticket sales for the 2019 Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards ceremony, to be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University.

John Baublis is the new PD at The New Mix 99.5 WJBR-FM in Wilmington, Delaware. Baublis, aka “Johnny B.,” recently did mornings and served as the PD at 97.5 KLAK-FM/McKinney, TX.

Another sign the industry is not totally united on lifting the ownership limits. And we shall see if this FCC takes into account that two important minority groups, in addition to iHeartMedia, do not want to see any additional deregulation.

Triton Digital has expanded its Webcast Metrics Monthly Ranker to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Ranker is a list of the top digital audio stations and networks as measured by the Webcast Metrics streaming measurement service. 

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters has also filed comments with The FCC regarding the upcoming Quadrennial Review of ownership rules. Another no vote.

Entercom CEO David Field reported $309 million in net revenues for the first quarter of 2019, up from $300 million in 2018. National, digital, and network revenues outperformed local, with digital now making up 10% of Entercom's total revenue.
