Three days after Kevin Kietzman was suspended for comments he made about Andy Reid's family, he's been fired. The announcement from Union Broadcasting President Chad Boeger said the parting was mutual, however, the writing was on the wall after the intense backlash Kietzman was receiving on social media. He had been with the station for 22 years.

Last week, award-winning CMT host and radio personality Cody Alan celebrated his 2000th episode as host of CMT After MidNite. Alan commemorated his fifth anniversary as host of the program in January.

Bob Bronson is the new morning drive personality of The ROR Morning Show with Bob Bronson, LBF and Brian on Beasley’s 105.7 WROR-FM in Boston. Bronson will join Lauren Beckham-Falcone (LBF) and Brian Bell as co-host.

The station will now broadcast pop and rhythmic hits from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Prior to the switch, 97.7 FM was “The New 97.7, Boston’s #1 for R&B.”

Ashley Wilson has been named Director of Country Programming for iHeartMedia’s Kentucky-Indiana region. She will be based in Louisville and oversee the programming of five stations.

Entercom has installed Ryan “Salt” MacMillan as the new morning drive co-host for AC station 96.5 TIC FM (WTIC-FM), in Hartford, CT. Salt will join Hartford radio veteran Christine Lee in the studio.

Kristy Beebe has been named Regional Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeart’s Kentucky-Indiana region. She will remain based in Louisville where she served the last two years as the GSM.

He did it during The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Friday, introducing Rickey Smiley as his successor. Joyner is retiring at the end of the year after 25 years as host.

iHeartMedia says its Class A common stock has been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. Upon listing, iHeartMedia’s Class A common stock will trade under the ticker “IHRT.” The listing date is July 18 and the iHeart management team will meet with investors July 15.

In a note to employees Thursday Cumulus CEO Mary Berner said the $12.5 million from the sale of WABC will be used to pay down debt and invest in the company. She also said Cumulus' one remaining station in the City, WNBM, will be sold so Cumulus can exit that market.
