Many years back, the French Foreign Legion had a harsh but useful strategy to put unacceptable complaints to rest. They would openly execute the loudest of the malcontents and declare the reason as follows: “Pour encourages les autres.” This translates to: “To encourage the others.”
Beasley Turns To Talk In SW Florida
In the Fort Myers, Naples, Marco Island market, Beasley launches "WJBX News Talk and More" on two FM translators, 104.3 FM, 101.5 FM, and on 770 AM. The new station will carry This Morning, America’s First News with Gordon Deal, followed by Kilmeade & Friends, John Gibson, Dave Ramsey, Tom Sullivan, and Alan Colmes. CBS News will be heard at the top of every hour.
Lite AC Is Something New From Westwood One
The company announced Thursday it intends to offer its affiliates a new format. The “Lite AC” 24-hour format, will be fully hosted and feature a wide range of music from the 70s through today. The satellite-delivered format will launch on Monday, July 11.
