The burger chain moved from 53rd to second on the Media Monitors weekly chart. Wendy's aired 32,833 commercials on radio stations all across the country last week. Only GEICO aired more (49,240). Indeed held onto the third spot (32,531), followed by The Home Depot (32,180), and the United States Department of Transportation (30,435).

6,000-watt WHJT, owned by Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi, is being sold to New South Radio for $600,000 cash at closing. The college was represented by brokers Greg Guy and Jason James of Patrick Communications.

An Argument To Scrap PPM and Return To The Diary

(By K.M. Richards) As we all know by now, the latest Nielsen PPM fiasco turns out to be a single family with multiple meters which were exposed long-term to an online stream. And Nielsen's "fix" is to remove that household from the process. I do not believe that's going to restore the growing suspicions by the radio industry that PPM is not an accurate method of determining the listenership numbers.
