The WABC New York talk host was arrested Tuesday morning outside of the Mayor’s residence, Gracie Mansion. Cumulus promoted the arrest in a press release, stating, "The arrest took place just after 8 a.m. while Sliwa, who also serves as the Reform Party chairman, was attempting to serve Mayor Bill De Blasio legal documents regarding the Working Families Party ballot line. (by Wayne Ens) I don’t get a chance to go fishing very often, so when I took a day off last week to go fishing I was reminded of some valuable sales lessons. Here are five of those lessons I was reminded of while trying to catch the big one...

Consultant Randy Lane first heard sisters Serene and Pearl on a podcast and knew they had natural talent. They host a personality-driven show for music-formatted stations. The 7 p.m.-12 midnight program airs Monday through Friday, hosted by sisters Serene Allison and Pearl Barrett and co-host Danny Valdes.

According to the RMLC it's because the lawsuit filed in November 2016 was filed in Pennsylvania and the RMLC says GMR is taking that out on Pennsylvania radio stations by refusing to cut licensing deals with them. "GMR has been clear that it does not want to litigate this case in front of this court; it would prefer to litigate in its home court in Los Angeles."

Many of you will remember the 2012 lawsuit filed against SESAC for attempting to monopolize the market. SESAC was not subject to the same government consent decree as BMI and ASCAP. RMLC filed suit against the smaller PRO, which it was on the road to winning, before SESAC agreed to a 20-year deal with the radio industry.

Radio Ink reached out to Azoff's organization to get a response the RMLC's latest motion. GMR says the motion is frivolous and a transparent attempt to create jurisdiction in Pennsylvania – a state where neither organization has offices or employees, where no GMR songwriters or publishers live, and where no relevant meetings ever took place.

Once the merger with CBS Radio is complete Entercom will pay COO Weezie Kramer a base salary of $700,000, according to a new 8K filed last night. She will also be eligible for a performance bonus of $500,000. Following the closing, Kramer will be granted shares of restricted stock with a target value of $625,000.

Luckily, it appears from the reporting, nobody was seriously injured. It all took place at CBS Radio's Hot 93.7 Hot Jam concert in Hartford on Friday night. In addition to the 90 people hospitalized, 50 were charged with underage drinking. The concert featured Chance the Rapper. Twenty-one thousand people attended the concert.

The Home Depot continues to be radio's number one advertiser, according to Media Monitors. After airing over 61,000 commercials last week, The Home Depot made it 13 consecutive weeks on top of the Media Monitors chart. GEICO held on to the number two spot (41,112), following by Lowe's (33,827), JC Penny (26,082) and McDonald's (26,053).

Among the honors the NPR station won in the competition run by the Florida Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, was the coveted Anchor of the Year prize. That honor went to All Things Considered host Lisa Peakes (pictured), at the 23rd Annual Sunshine State Awards announced Saturday night in Miami.
