According to the Chicago Tribune, former Chicago radio host Roma Wade recently sold her 2,200-square-foot Chicago condo for $770,000. Along with her late husband Don, the condo on Lake Shore Drive was purchased back in 1995 for $265,000. The couple worked at WLS together from 1986 to 2012. Don died of brain cancer in 2013 at the age of 72. Wade now lives in Florida.

Townsquare Media Jersey Shore heritage radio brands 94.3 The Point (WJLK), 92.7 WOBM, 105.7 The Hawk (WCHR), and Beach Radio 1160/1310 (WOBM-AM) have been busy during Q4 2017 with a variety of cause-marketing initiatives, helping raise more than $200,000 for local causes. This includes local food and toy drives, fundraising walks, and radiothons. 

Country radio specialists Mike O’Malley and Becky Brenner have announced that their 24th annual pre-CRS seminar will take place on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Music City Center, Downtown Nashville, from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The A&O&B team will present the first highlights from their 13th annual online perceptual study, “Roadmap 2018.”

The Connecticut station’s popular morning team take their show to Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven to raise toys for children in need this holiday season. The annual four-and-a-half-hour “Chaz and AJ McDermott Chevrolet and Lexus Toy Drive” will take place Friday, December 15, 5-10 a.m.

The Cumulus Media Country station raised the impressive amount for the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in just two days with a united team of radio professionals from stations WIVK, WNML, and WOKI pitching in to answer phones.

WGN Radio will debut The WGN Radio Holiday Spectacular, a live variety show featuring the station’s talent, on Friday, December 15 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Co-hosted by Bill Leff and Dometi Pongo, listeners will be treated to seasonal songs, classic stories, yuletide poetry, and a live report from a certain workshop at the North Pole.

The contest was called "Win a Baby," at Beasley's B103.9 in Fort Myers. Morning man 'Big Mama' decided to host the contest after he and his wife struggled with infertility. The prize, which went to Anthony and Krista Rivera was in vitro fertilization treatment.

NBC Sports Northwest and iHeartMedia Portland announced a new content partnership in Portland, Oregon, on Tuesday. The collaboration will rebrand iHeartMedia’s Rip City Radio 620 to NBC Sports Northwest Rip City Radio.
