Wednesday afternoon, Cox Enterprises announced it was selling Cox Media Group's 61 Radio station in 11 markets to a new broadcasting company that is substantially owned by private equity funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management. How much Apollo paid for the CMG radio stations was not announced.
