We're seeing more and more of this from former on-air hosts who've been fired from their jobs. Especially from hosts who've been in the business for years and have accumulated a loyal following.

In Idaho Springs, Colorado, it's homecoming week for the local high school. The Friday night lights may be a bit dimmer though, because the final football homecoming game at Gold Digger Stadium may be missing a radio broadcast.

You may recall back on September 11 we reported that Saga Communications had filed a petition with the FCC about 5 LPFM's in Virginia. Saga believes the stations are operating as a cluster and running actual commercials to support their operation.

Riviera Broadcasting has hired John Sebastian as PD and consultant for KOAI-FM/Phoenix. Sebastian will evolve KOAI into his new music format called The WOW Factor. KOAI will be the first station in the country to launch this format.
