A media diversity hearing is being held Wednesday before the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Diane Sutter, President and CEO of Shooting Star Broadcasting, will be the NAB witness for this hearing, which you can watch live HERE. The hearing begins at 10:30 a.m.

Four More House Members Support LRFA
The Local Radio Freedom Act, which opposes any new performance tax, royalty, or other charge on local radio for airing songs, has received the support of four more members of the House. There are now 205 cosponsors in the House and 25 in the Senate.
Lazer Moves All Stations To Gen Media Partners
Lazer Broadcasting has expanded its national ad sales relationship with Gen Media Partners by moving all of its 43 Spanish-language radio stations to Gen. The company was already representing Lazer stations in seven markets. The expanded deal adds 26 more stations.

NRG Media in Omaha has flipped KOOO-FM 101.9 The Keg from Classic Rock to Adult Hits. The company is making the change after adding longtime programmer Jay Michaels.
