Broadcasters Foundation To Offer Coronavirus Grants
The Broadcasters Foundation of America’s Executive Committee of the Board of Directors held an emergency meeting regarding broadcasters in financial need due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The criteria for emergency grant qualifications has been revised to provide aid to broadcasters who meet the requirements and have been infected.
iHeart And Friends Raise Over $150K
The Cleveland Cavaliers, iHeartMedia and Cleveland TV stations joined forces for a three-and-half-hour telethon on April 4 that aired simultaneously on WOIO CBS 19, CW 43 WUAB, and iHeart's WTAM 1100 and 100.7 WMMS. Over $150,000 was raised for two non-profits.
Hubbard Station Donates 3,000 Masks
In a show of support to their local medical community, Hubbard country station KNUC-FM in Seattle has donated 3,000 medical masks to Virginia Mason Hospitals, Evergreen Health, Cottesmore Life Care, PacMed and Seattle Children’s to help nurses and doctors fighting the virus.

KIOK-FM, 94.9 "The Wolf", Kennewick, Washington, has teamed up to feed truckers hauling much needed supplies during the crisis. Truckers Lunchables is supplying truck drivers across the state of Washington with Free lunch, Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the restaurant ban is lifted.
