Slacker Radio unveiled a new version of its app that gives top billing to Slacker's exclusive original shows. With hundreds of episodes now available, Slacker is building an archive of content based on interactive storytelling from its hosts and top artists.

Advertising Age has the details about the massive "buy with dozens of partners, the largest of which is Google." The campaign will include premium digital video, mobile video, and high-impact placements that show up in prominent spots on Web pages, some of which are in Spanish-language media.

A company called Podtrac is now releasing a monthly ranking of podcasts based on unique monthly audience in the United States and unique downloads globally. NPR's 32 podcasts topped the April ranker.

The Radio Button Network has picked up its first program following the launch of the network by syndicated hosts Ace & TJ earlier this month. Greg & The Morning Buzz is the first to be added to the show roster. The show is based at iHeartMedia's WHEB in Portsmouth, NH.

And recode reports that's a good thing because it also means the company generated more revenue in 2015 than it did in 2014. The online tech site reports that's positive especially if the company plans to go public.

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has a new podcast called Walking the Floor, which debuted on PodcastOne Monday with an interview with country singer Dierks Bentley. A new episode of Walking the Floor will come out every other Monday.

On July 6, the Academy of Podcasters will hold their Awards & Hall of Fame Ceremony in Chicago. The Academy has just released the list of nominees. The top 10 nominees have been selected in the following categories: Arts, Business, Comedy, Education, Fiction, Food, Games & Hobbies, Health, History, Kids & Family, Music, News & Politics, Religion & Spirituality, Science & Medicine, Society & Culture, Sports & Recreation, Technology, and TV & Film.

That's for the month of March (M-F, 6A-8P) and that's based on Average Active Sessions, according to Triton Digital's latest ranker. Triton says there's been steady growth in online listening, March AAS increased over 13% when compared to March 2015 in the M-F, 6A-8P daypart.

Radio Disney is added to TuneIn's Premium subscription side, which means it will cost $7.99 per month to listen without any ads. TuneIn Premium is the only platform offering a commercial-free stream of Radio Disney’s Top 40 feed. The ad-supported version of Radio Disney has been available to all TuneIn users since 2013.

And that's more than the original plan, which was $750 Million worth. The notes will be due in 2026 and offered to institutional buyers only. SiriusXM plans to use a portion of the proceeds to repay all borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility. The company will use the remaining proceeds for general corporate purposes.
