Futuri's social media discovery tool TopicPulse has added several new features. They include alerts for breaking news and social bursts, and viral predictor, which predicts social trends that are about to go viral based on their engagement and growth trends.

There's also a company called Prisa Radio battling the regulars (iHeart, Pandora, Spotify, and NPR) on the top of the Triton chart. Prisa Radio is a Spanish-language radio group, with a presence in 12 countries, including Spain, Colombia, and Chile.

With the recent explosion of podcast listening, DMR Interactive has decided to embark on a new study. The company is teaming up with Texas A&M University’s Digital Media Research and Development Lab to examine the podcast space during the 2016-2017 academic year.
