Actor Tom Arnold has launched a new podcast on PodcastOne called "Tom Arnold. 100% Honest. Pretty Much." It will cover everything from his career, to life as a husband and father of two. New episodes will be available every Wednesday.

It’s a story that sounds like modern fiction. Two high school wrestling teammates, whose lives went in opposite directions – one became a drug trafficker, the other a DEA agent – only to come together again.

Public Media Company PRX is opening a podcasting studio in Boston called the Podcast Garage. The plan is for the facility to serve as a recording space and educational center, dedicated to the craft of audio storytelling.

More than 14 podcasts have been added by the broadcast giant – and the entire NBC Sports Radio portfolio of programming has been made available on-demand via podcast. Leading the new additions is Tara and Johnny, a lifestyle podcast hosted by Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir.

In its May ranker, Triton Digital reports that overall streaming listening continues its steady growth, both for streaming pureplays and AM/FM radio.

As we reported yesterday, Triton Digital will now provide the streaming technology for NPR. It was made official in a press release Monday. The deal deepens the relationship between the two companies.

DGital Media is partnering with Fortune to launch Fortune Unfiltered, which will feature CEOs, thought leaders, executives, and other influencers in business today. The first podcast launched Monday.

It's a national ad sales agreement for the Completely Unnecessary podcast which has over 30,000 downloads per episode and 200,000 YouTube subscribers. The show covers pop culture topics such as games, movies, and comics. It's hosted by writer and gamer punk Pat Contri, along with fellow gamer, Ian Ferguson. The show is produced every other week.

His new title is Partner Integration Specialist and he’ll report to Sr. VP/Operations Todd Thomas. Marsh has experience as a Market Manager, Operations Manager, and PD. At Futuri, he'll work with stations to develop strategies for audience and revenue growth.

NPR Digital Services will start using Triton Digital for streaming later this year. Stations were informed of the change last week, according to The Current. NPR uses Limelight to stream and began using Triton for podcast advertising earlier this year.
