iHeartMedia is expanding its presence in the metaverse with an update to their Roblox land. “iHeartLand: Music Tycoon” is evolving into “iHeartLand: Radio Star Simulator” offering new interactive features and music experiences, while players try to build and run their own radio stations.
iHeart launched iHeartLand in the popular metaverse universe in 2022. The game has 214 million monthly users.
The new update gives “radio pets” that serve as companions, as users travel through different radio genres like country, hip-hop, alt-rock, and pop. Collecting in-game sound energy allows users to grow their radio stations, increase listeners, unlock new music, and discover quests.
