Chris Forgy has been promoted to Senior VP of Operations for Saga. It’s a newly created position for Forgy who had been managing Saga’s cluster in Columbus. CEO Ed Christian said, “Chris is a world-class broadcaster whose contributions to Saga will be very important and strategic as he joins us in the corporate office.”
Forgy joined Saga in 1995 as Director of Sales for the company’s stations in Columbus, until 2006. He left Saga from 2006 to 2011 to serve as General Manager of radio clusters for other companies. Forgy rejoined Saga as President and General Manager of the Columbus market where he’s been until this promotion.
Forgy said, “I have always dreamed of having this opportunity and am looking forward to working directly with Ed as well as with Saga’s great team of broadcasters who I have had the honor to work with and alongside of for the past 20 years.”
