After 11 years in Christian radio’s C-suite, Tim Dukes is leaving his post as President of Hope Media Group for media consulting and marketing firm Collective Heads, where he’ll join as a partner working across programming, revenue, and marketing strategy.

Dukes spent 24 years in radio programming and on-air roles at major-market stations including The Loop in Chicago, 96rock in Atlanta, KGB and KIOZ in San Diego, WEBN in Cincinnati, The Power Pig in Tampa and Y107 in Nashville.

His Christian radio career began in 2015, when he joined WayFM as general manager for its Dallas-Fort Worth launch, later taking on regional responsibilities for the network’s stations in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Indiana. He became Way Media’s COO and interim CEO beginning in 2021, and Hope Media Group’s chief operating officer starting in 2022, when Way merged with HMG.

Earlier this year, he was featured on the cover of Radio Ink‘s inaugural Christian radio issue. Hope has yet to name a successor.

Dukes said, “I’m honored to join the group at Collective Heads, who are among the best programmers I’ve collaborated with and/or competed against in my 30+ year management career. Given my Contemporary Christian experience these last 11 years, it will be a great joy to continue working with people in that format so they can also benefit from the tremendous think tank of Tim Richards, Jimmy Steal, Jim Lawson, and Joe Lindsay to advance their stations in reach, impact, and revenue.”

Collective Heads Founder and Managing Partner Tim Richards said, “We are beyond excited to have Tim join the Collective Heads team. I’ve known him for decades and have admired his career for as long as I’ve been in the business. He is a world-class executive, programmer, marketer, and most importantly, a great person. The strength of the collective is the many skill sets we all bring to the table, and Tim joining this team dramatically elevates every aspect of our endeavor.”
