Six months after his departure from Entravision Communications, Jeffrey Liberman’s senior advisory role for Carlos Moncada’s MLC Media has grown into Co-CEO and COO across Nueva Network and the Spanish-language broadcaster’s affiliated North Atlantic Media.
Liberman joined to help Moncada evaluate the business and build a detailed action plan for continuing Nueva Network’s growth over the past five years. Following the plan’s implementation, Moncada promoted him to his current position.
Regarding his promotion, Liberman told Radio Ink, “Moving forward, our main focus is to grow the company linearly while expanding our digital advertising opportunities targeting the US Latino market. Specifically, we will be building upon our current streaming and podcast offerings by expanding into CTV, Social, and digital out-of-home.”
Entravision ended Liberman’s tenure with the company in February after nine years as President and Chief Operating Officer and 26 years with the company overall. He joined MLC Media as Senior Advisor in April. Moncada and Liberman had worked closely for more than 15 years, including through their collaboration on Alex Lucas’s syndicated show.
In May, Radio Ink reported Liberman taking on strategic oversight across both Nueva Network and North Atlantic Media as the two Spanish-language companies realigned under a unified structure.
