Erika Kirk, widow of Salem Radio Network host Charlie Kirk, joined The Charlie Kirk Show on September 26 to assure listeners that the program will continue following her husband’s fatal shooting on September 10 during a Utah speaking engagement for Turning Point USA.
Executive Producer Andrew Kolvet and co-hosts Blake Neff and Mikey McCoy will continue to lead the show’s direction.
Kirk stated, “The Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere. My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on…We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on.” She added, “The team is keeping this alive, because we have Charlie in each and every one of us, and it is going to be continually the North Star of the conservative movement…and that will not end.”
The show has been using rotating hosts since the 31-year-old’s death earlier this month, including Vice President JD Vance.
Any additional details, including a formal statement or plan from Salem, have yet to be revealed. In March, Kirk moved into Dennis Prager’s time slot and assumed his affiliate after Prager suffered a spinal cord injury in a fall last November. While scheduled for a June return, Prager’s show has since been shelved indefinitely.
